CHICAGO!!!!! ***M&G PICTURES ADDED***
I am just now coming down from this trip. I am falling asleep at my desk!!!
TAMMY: Thanks for the advice! But it had a reverse psychology affect, which was GOOD!! Lindadarlin calls Tammy from our room. Linda is a terrific roommate by the way! Poor Linda, her cat had to be put down that Sunday morning. But she did very well, I was proud of her. I spoke to you Tammy and when you told me about the adrenalin rush, I think I got it right then!!!! No kidding. All of a sudden I was a nervous wreck and shaking from the inside out. Half a Xanax and some breathing exercises and I started to calm down. By the time we hit the bus I had a premonition that we would not have enough time with the guys for me to get out what I wanted to say to Steven. Luckily I had a notepad from the hotel, so he got a note! While writing the letter I got emotional and that was the release I needed. I let Linda read it to make sure it wasn't total jibberish. She gave it a thumb's up. I was right. We had very little time with these guys. The really stupid thing I did was not introduce myself. Not that they would remember but I just felt rude all of a sudden! I stayed perfectly calm the entire time, even while waiting for them. It was a whirlwind. So thanks Tammy for the advice!!! It worked, not like you may have anticipated, but it worked.
God, 2 people per picture with the group, fan club person took 2 pics of each group. We were in 2 lots of 25 and I was in the first group. Thank heavens because Joe Perry left the second group without giving them an autograph I think. Joe was in one of his moods. Joey wasn't any better. The show had started before we could even get back there. We missed DMC and several Kid Rock songs. It's OK, I had an agenda!! I got to stand between Steven and Joe for the pic but Joe was venting to Tom and wouldn't look towards the camera. Steven was listening to Linda so God knows where I was looking or what I was doing!! Shoud be interesting. Doesn't matter, I am sure it will be great for Linda and I couldn't have my individual with Steven anyway so she can crop me out!! LOLOL
We had to stand in line until that was done and then we all got out what we wanted signed. Steven first, I had the shirt the fan club handed out. Pull on it baby, he says, there you go! He has the sweetest voice. I told him this was such a treat as yesterday had been my birthday and, he didn't let me finish. It was? he asked, well Happy Birthday!!!!! AAAAhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I SO wanted to hear Steven tell me Happy Birthday. Thank you I said and he leaned over to kiss me on the left cheek so I got his right one! On to Joey - he signs like a robot, nothing to say, no smile, never looked at me. Are you alright? I ask. Took him a second but he realized I said something and said abruptly, What? You OK? YEAH! and he went right back to looking across the room to Joe! I could not tell what Joe was saying to Tom during the pic. That's probably the picture I will get is me craning my neck trying to eavesdrop! THAT would be typical!!
Anyway, off to Brad. BIG smile, really happy, what a cutie. He signs my shirt and I said THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! And he says YOU ARE QUITE WELCOME!!! Off to Joe. Joe never looked up, never said a word and I had the sense it was best not to push it so I didn't attempt to get him to look up. Now Tom - he was chatting with Linda about her new shirt. $75!!! But it's a way cool shirt! Black and white photos from all eras of the guys in a continous collage, sleeveless, sort of basketball jersey type material. It is cool and Tom really liked it. He thought she had made it. OK -
That fast and that MGR guy, can't remember his Italian name but I remember hearing about him, is barking for everyone to leave. 2 couples were with Steven and I still had my gift to give him, a neckace I have had since '77. I had already given him the note because I wasn't sure when I would be able to get it to him. Steven was commenting on a woman's tattoo across her chest, AEROSMITH in Gothic type lettering, sepia colored and it went all the way across her chest!! He couldn't believe she had actually tattooed that. She must have been trying to get him to sign above it and he was telling her that he would usually sign a leg or an arm but he felt funny about anything else, and looks right at me and says, because you might have a husband or boyfriend who won't be too thrilled with that. And he's looking baffled that she has this huge Aerosmith across her chest. I nodded because frankly, I DON'T want anyone else's name on me anywhere. I am even struggling with the wings logo. I should create my own. Anyway he and I are shaking our heads in agreement. FINALLY the couples part on each side of him. The security guy couldn't see me behind all those people and in front of Steven. His right hand was still up and partly opened from talking and gesturing and I took it gently in my left hand, dropped the necklace in and shut his fingers over it. He watched the entire thing. This is for you I said. He opens his fingers like a little kid with a surprise and almost catches his breath. He gave me that deep look into the eyes over his glasses again and gave me a very heartfelt thank you, He actually acted like he was taken aback. He didn't need to thank me after all he has given me and at that point a lump started to form. I held on but I shut my eyes and shook my head and simply said you are VERY welcome, then looked back up at him. He was just staring at me. It was split second stuff folks but it was quite real. If I had tried to open my mouth at that point it would have gotten emotional and so I just stayed silent and tried to convey with my big green hazel eyes that he was quite appreciated. I think he got the message. He tilted his head slightly to the right and his expression was one of sincere heartfelt appreciation and then it happened. He came forward, almost hesitating like I would back off!! NOT and kissed me right on the lips! It was SOOOO soft. He is so soft.
Can't say as I noticed any scent about him like I have heard about but he is definitely soft. And his facialist must be a miracle because you do not see ONE pore on his face! His eyes are a brown hazel by the way, I always thought they were a reddish brown but they are hazel.
So there it is and there it was. He never knew my name and he was touched that I was touched. But I swear to God, I had him with security right there, alone on that patio deck thing we were on. Everyone else had left. I remember him coming in for the kiss and I remember being almost to the door and I can't remember anything else!!! Did I just leave him there without saying a word???? I think I must have. How embarrassing. I wonder what he thought. I was just ....it was my dream, and I am starting to cry now. Steven knows I care and I know he cares that I do and there was the softest sweetest kiss ever and I can't even remember how it ended! I don't remember looking back at him. Did I stand with my eyes closed while he walked off , did I follow him out, did I just never look up and move on. I CANNOT REMEMBER!!! It's crazy.
Steven lovers, live through me and know that it is possible to touch Mr Steven Tyler in ways that you may not have fantasized about! I will never forget it.

OH MY!..........Lesley..........how wonderful that must have been.....you have brought tears to my eyes......am so happy for you......how FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!! someday i hope to have a story to tell, too..........no.....let me rephrase that.......someday i WILL have a story to tell........Steven sounds so genuine.........i can't wait to have my 3 minutes with him........!!!!!!!!

Adrenaline Cocktail!
It's coming back to me!! I remembered something that I had to relate on how that kiss ended!! I remembered thinking, God, even his arm is SOOO soft! Well, the only way I would have known that would have been during that kiss. I remember my right hand gently sliding down his left forearm. He had reached up to put his hand gently behind my upper arm right above my right elbow. I guess in case I should keel!! LOL So it was him that walked away and as he did my right hand gently slid down his left forearm. It's all back now. I have relived the moment a hundred times trying to recall. But I do remember that. So we had each other by our elbows, basically, not holding on, just our hands resting. He walked back, I guess the rest of the guys were behind me, and then I looked up and saw the door and went. And I remember one of our members in the second group saying, Look at that smile!. Thank God. I knew I couldn't have been so stupid as to have walked out on Mr Tyler. I am sorry that I did not look back to wave to them all though. What a moment........
I saw my freshman this afternoon. I asked him if he was proud of me and he asked, for getting the kiss? And I said, no, for not passing out or losing it like you said I would! He just grinned and said, Hey, you still had a blackout! LOLOLOLOLOL
Our Camden people should be rocking now!!!

Well, that's hella good....a kiss from Steven and all that...mmmmmmm.......sounds very nice!
It's unfortunate that Joe's happy switch was off that night It seems as if Steven is always there for fans, whereas any one of the other band members is somewhat likely to be having a "bad hair day" of some sort.

Linda is behind me there and she got Steven's autograph before me. The best we can figure is the envelope in my mouth is the one she handed Steven that had all the posts from here in it! He must have handed it to me and then he kept telling me to pull on the shirt so he could sign it.I guess I stuck it in my mouth to do that! I'll put anything in my mouth I guess!!!!!
I logged off for a bit to get back to my jpeg problem!!!
4 nights of staying up til 1 or 2, I was originally getting to bed by 11 tonight!, and I have it fixed!!!!
Thanks again to Tammy and my buddy Susie at work for giving me enough feedback to get my greymatter to figure this out!!!
